Share the Road Campaign Rides Preview

Lake Artemesia, a short relaxing ride from campus.

During the Share the Road campaign we are running a “bike bus” to key locations nears campus.
Come with us as we ride to:

Lake Artemesia on the 5th,
Take a ride for wellness. Don’t you ever want to take a break and relax? Perhaps get away for a while? This route is the right one for you. After you learn the route with us, stop by the bike shop between 11:30 and 1:30 during the months of April and May to check out a bike a ride again.

Shoppers/Home Depot on the 7th
You would be surprised how many groceries you can carry on a bike, even without a basket! Go ahead and earn your calories! Check out this easy ride to Shoppers. In College Park, you don’t really need a car.

Ledo’s is a local favorite. Come for a ride, stay for great pizza! Support bikeUMDs efforts to become a bicycle friendly campus!

The rides will be a slow to moderate pace. If a rider becomes too tired they will be escorted back separately. In general the routes have been designed to be relatively flat.
