Bicycling – Slow Speed Maneuvering
Slow speeds, tight turns, narrow spaces; come and find out what your parents didn’t know and couldn’t teach you when you first began bicycling. Learn to make your bicycle do exactly what you want, exactly when you want. Confident maneuvering at slow speeds doesn’t come naturally, but it’s easily taught and in an hour you can transform the way you ride.
Bicycling – Using Gears Properly to Make Riding Easier
UMCP is built on a hill, but proper gear usage can make it seem almost level. Many modern bicycles have up to 27 gears/speeds; you paid for them, now use them! Proper gear usage can help you ride with much less effort. We’ll teach you what “spin” is and in an hour you can transform the way you ride.
All of the bicycling classes will be held in the Union Lane Garage, on the level below the top (where we’re covered in case of bad weather), in parking spaces #121-136.
